Quote to Live By...

It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, & to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary.

I found this quote and I just really like it. It's starting to sink in that its okay to live for myself and to do things that are just for me. I have to in order to make myself happy and keep myself well. It's not just me though, you owe it to yourself to do the same.

More than just a pretty face..

Something has been bothering me. People at work are always commenting on how thin I am--but not in the negative you are a skeleton way, in a positive way I guess if there is one-- and how pretty I am. At times they also comment on what a hard worker I am and what a great work ethic I have. I don't mind the comments or complements whatever you may call them. It just bothers me to hear "Oh look at you sitting there looking pretty". Comments like that are unnecessary. I'm good at my job, I work hard and I get done what is expected of me and more. I'm more than just a "pretty face", I'm so much more.

Before & After

I love pinterest, that's no secret to those that know me. I've tried and made various projects from pinterest. I also use it as my go to for organizing ideas. I love quotes, especially inspirational ones, and I stumbled upon a motivation wall on pinterest. I thought why not make my own? So I did.

I'm really happy with it so far but I still have more to add. I think having something like this is good to have especially on bad days, reading just one of those quotes is a good reminder and I am guaranteed a smile on my face.
